Enjoy What You Do
_______________________________________________________________________________________
The goal of both work and play is to find satisfaction in what you do.
If you spend your life afraid to try something new, you will live a life of regrets. I have pastored small churches for the last five decades and still enjoy sharing the Good News with those who will listen. I returned to college and got my Master In Theological Studies when I was 57. I wrote my first book when I was 59. I started art when I was 65. I started playing guitar at 69, and the mandolin at 71. I have just finished my eleventh book which caused me to put together these personal web pages. I have artwork I enjoy doing and sharing with friends and family. I have my share of regrets. I should have started doing more sooner, but I do not plan ever to let that happen again. I share my writing and art with you in hopes it will inspire you spiritually and provoke you to try something new soon. Age is not a reason not to try, but it is the excuse many use. I have a friend who is 92 and still rides his bike hundreds of miles every summer. Oh, my wife and I are learning Italian to visit Italy on our 50th anniversary and communicate with the locals.
